CONSULTATION
Julia Guan has had the privilege of mentoring CES PhD students as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of doctoral life. Through one-on-one guidance, I’ve helped students cultivate effective qualitative research and writing practices and build confidence in their scholarly identities. My mentorship focuses on preparing students to become strong candidates for competitive faculty positions—equipping them with the skills, mindset, and professional presence needed to thrive in academia. Julia has also provided supervision to Ukrainian Counselors and Supervisors since 2021. Julia has a unique understanding of providing trauma-informed supervision to supervisors and clinicians needing additional support, particularly those serving in war-torn countries.
